EVERYTHING’S ALRIGHT IN THE EVENING
New EP Out Now
BE GOOD are a four-piece from Oxford, having formed after a serendipitous meeting in a ceramic arts class. Vocalist Ash Cooke and drummer Charlie Clark initially shared a passion for clay, but ultimately bonded over nights listening to rap music in a South East London flat. Relocating to Cooke’s hometown Oxford, they enlisted James Cunning (synths) and Patch Burley (bass), both of whom were models at a local life drawing class, to start a band. Named after 96-year-old chemistry professor John B. Goodenough, BE GOOD started releasing songs in response to small-town suburban boredom; early singles came out via boutique labels Kitsuné and Communion, followed by self-released debut EP God Of Nowhere. Hit single “Sickie” shortly followed, paired with a tour through the UK around its release.
Everything’s Alright In The Evening is BE GOOD’s sophomore EP.
